Lord Brahma has status in this temple and believed he worshiped Lord Shiva here. Mythological reference is Lord Brahma thought that he is the supreme power because he is one who creates all living beings in world. Lord Shiva destroyed his fifth face Hence he has four faces and cursed to lose his creation power. Lord Brahma is in meditative pose in Padmasana on a lotus.

Lord Brahma worshiped Lord Shiva in many places finally he reached here and worshiped 12 lingams. Lord Shiva and Devi Parvathy gave blessings and got creation power under the Magizha tree.
