Manikkavacakar (மாணிக்கவாசகர்) is standing and requesting the master how to be ever born any more. The master who is lord siva said don’t fear and replied gave some information to him then disappread. This event happened under the kurundha tree which still exists inside the temple for remembrance. This is turning point in Manikkavacakar life and started to build temple currently known as Avudaiyarkoil in Thiruperunthurai.
